Beginner's Game Guide - VALORANT
VALORANT is a free-to-play 5v5 tactical shooter developed and published by Riot Games. The game is an “agent” shooter, where players are split into two teams and select an "agent" from a roster of characters. The game is rated T for Teen.
All agents are available through freeplay and players can enjoy unrated, ranked, and custom lobbies. Cosmetics can be purchased using in-game currency. Players can unlock additional free content by completing Contracts in-game. The game continues to bring in new updates each patch.
VALORANT utilizes a battle pass to expand player incentives for cosmetics including a “free” version and “premium” version. The free version is at no cost to the player, and has limited incentives for unlockable cosmetics and collectables. The premium version, once paid, allows players to unlock every collectible available.
