May 11, 2023 Release

NEW: Customizable team designations for leagues (Varsity, Club, etc)

Upon popular request, we’ve added the ability for hosts to create their own team designations! This enables leagues to distinguish the various types of teams like Varsity, Junior Varsity, Club and any other teams exactly as they’d like.

NEW: Updated Twitch and cookie consent forms and policies to ensure users understand and can opt out of anonymized data that we collect

We strive to be one of the safest places to visit on the internet, which begins with integrity and transparency. As a result, we have added more controls to our platform that explicitly request user consent when we collect any behavioral information (for example, anonymously tracking which pages you visit) and have published a new Cookie Policy that documents what cookies are and what anonymized data we collect once users opt-in to their use.

Our goal is for users to be educated on which data our platform collects, and that they make their own data privacy choices where possible.

NEW: Added match capabilities within active Leaderboard stages

We know how much players appreciate being accommodated when they are experiencing last minute scheduling changes with their teams, even if it’s moments from match start.

We’ve added more tools to make changing active Leaderboard stages and their matches easier. Operators now can:

  • Create or delete matches after a Leaderboard stage is started

  • Add or remove teams to/from a Leaderboard match

  • Remove teams from unstarted Leaderboard matches without forfeiting them

Whether you need to accommodate an earnestly tardy team, or cancel a match free of confusion from your players, these extra tools allow you to easily maintain any changes for your Leaderboard events.

NEW: Style and iconography updates to improve readability and user experience

We have more visual updates in this release to improve your experience, including updated iconography throughout the platform and cleaned up styles under the user profile page and notifications. We also made chat buttons more apparent for users and how to access.

Check out the new look under the personal information section from your profile page!

Additional Updates

  • We’ve implemented a fix within our free agency feature, resolving an error that would pop up when assigning users removed from their organization.

  • We’ve implemented a fix to avoid League of Legends check-in errors caused by timeouts from the Riot API when generating tournament codes.
