Test

Hoping you all had a lovely February, here is a breakdown of the love we’ve put into our newest LeagueSpot patch.

New Features

  • Added the option to let you stay logged in for 30 days - now players won’t have to log in as often when they’re on their home device.

  • Added Chess.com automation to tennis-style matches - this means that, among other titles, our popular Chess 4v4 format can now use the same auto-scoring that standard Chess has been using.

  • Added the option for hosts to pay or refund league fees, giving you more control over league monetization.

Upgrades

  • Visually upgraded the “Edit Stage Participants” page.

  • Now banner images will stop scaling at their max horizontal resolution instead of scaling up to current horizontal resolution. Here is an example:

  • Small tweaks to the Team Designations editor in league settings.

  • Major refactoring of a lot of the site components by offloading them to independent processes - this will allow us to continue to scale to a larger user base with more stability.

  • Added the option to change the number of sets per player within a tennis-style competition.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug that would keep you from completing a stage with with a deleted team that was tied.

  • Fixed an issue where the user’s profile avatar was overflowing in the top right header on small mobile screens.

  • Fixed some issues with the login token expiring on the mobile app.

  • Fixed bug where submitting game results at the same time as someone else would lead to a duplicated score report and subsequent games.
