Test

Hello everyone!

This post combines both the July 5th and the August 8th patch. We’re a little bit behind on communicating new features, but will be sharing these as we catch up over the next week or so.

Chess.com Auto Scoring

Chess matches can now be auto-scored! In addition to automatically determining a winner, we also collect match data for display such as the snapshot of the final game state and the history of moves. Soon, we will also aggregate those match stats into each player’s profile to keep a record of their matches.

Configurable Theme Colors

With the ability to change the colors of the background, buttons, text, and accent colors, you can make your league look exactly how you want it to. Check it out in League Settings > Theme Colors.

VALORANT Game Stats

We now display the full details and stats of any auto-scored VALORANT game, such as KDA, headshot percentage, and more, as displayed below. It not only looks good, but will allow us to surface those stats in interesting and cool ways in the future.

Additional Updates:

  • We have released a new Privacy Policy that more explicitly documents what data we request, how we transmit and store it, and who we share it with. Additionally, because so many of our users are under 13, we have separately added a children's privacy policy that explains what our intentions are with data in a simpler way.

  • We've enhanced the visual design of forms, input fields, MFA input page, season and stage details pages.

  • We now automatically extract league colors when you upload a logo, which can help guide the color theme of your instance.

  • We've updated the behavior of the website when using auto-forfeit in a single or double elimination match. In cases where both teams fail to check in before the auto-forfeit cutoff, LeagueSpot will no longer mark the match as disputed, making it easier for the host to decide how to proceed.

  • We've added an optional league setting that prevents captains/players from joining match chats, allowing only coaches/managers to participate in and use the chat. This has been most commonly requested in communities focused on users under 13.

  • We've added a coach section to the match page to make coaches easier to identify.

  • We've added tooltips to the user profile page to indicate the visibility of each piece of information shared by the user so that the user knows who sees what information about them.

  • We've increased the image upload size for the league banner to 1MB in order to accommodate higher resolution images.

  • We've added Xbox Live account linking and Steam account linking to the user profile page.

  • We'll automatically set a player's game rank when they link an account to their profile, and they will be updated every time a match is completed.
