Hello everyone and happy October! Today, we’re very excited to announce some new features, including automated score reporting for League of Legends!

We also have some fixes to announce, a couple of which were sent in by you in the community. Our door is always open for you all! Let us know on Discord if you have any questions or feedback for the platform!

New Features

1. League of Legends Automated Score Reporting

Long-awaited and with great excitement, League of Legends Automated Score Reporting is live on all League of Legends matches. Teams will now receive tournament codes upon check-in, allowing us to automatically reflect the match scores upon game completion!

How Teams Use League of Legends Automated Score Reporting

BEFORE THE MATCH

  • Check into your match on LeagueSpot.

  • After both teams have checked in, the Tournament Code will appear underneath the match.

  • All players will need to use the Tournament Code displayed to enter the game lobby.

  • Note: Managers, Coaches and Team Captains can produce a new tournament code.

BEGINNING THE MATCH

  • In the League of Legends game client, select Play.

  • Select the Trophy icon, located on the top right hand corner.

  • Paste the Tournament Code from the match page and join the game lobby.

  • Set players in their correct lobby placements.

  • Begin the game!

AFTER THE MATCH

  • Return to the match page on LeagueSpot; the match results will be displayed underneath the match.

  • If results are missing, they can be reprocessed by either team’s Manager, Coach or Team Captain.


2. Host Access for Updating User Information

This week, we also enabled League Hosts with direct access to update email addresses and date-of-birth for their users.

  • Hosts can update user emails or date-of-birth by accessing the individual’s User Profile on the League Page.


Fixes

  • Fixed issue for reschedule requests where both parties approved a reschedule, but the match page would not update.
  • Fixed issue where coaches were able to take up a spot on teams.
  • Fixed issue affecting auto forfeits.
